Icelandic builder Rafnar has delivered a new rigid inflatable boat (RIB) to Björgunarsveitin Ársæll, the search and rescue (SAR) organisation serving the cities of Reykjavik and Seltjarnanes.
The boat has been christened Sjöfn after a goddess in Norse mythology.
The RIB measures 11 metres long and is powered by two Mercury 223kW outboard engines that deliver a speed of 43 knots.
