French naval architects Pierre Delion has introduced a new series of rigid hull inflatable boats (RHIBs) for use by customers in the maritime security and emergency services sectors.
The 9.27- by 3.36-metre, aluminium-hulled vessels will be available in different variants, all powered by twin outboards. The standard model will have an open centre console while the patrol-optimised variant (pictured) will have a closed wheelhouse and the rescue-optimised variant will have a T-top.
Construction of the series will take place at the Le Lude facilities of Northern France-based boatbuilder Zeppelin. The first example is scheduled for launch this summer.
