Finnish builder Arctic Airboats has completed construction of a new rigid inflatable boat (RIB) ordered by the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger; DGzRS).
The vessel is scheduled to be delivered to its new owners in the first week of June 2020 following conclusion of sea trials.
The DGzRS will operate the RIB out of its station in Ueckermünde, a northeast German town located near the Polish border.
