UAE-based Asis Boats has delivered a batch of newbuild transport cabin rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) to the Italian Space Agency (Agenzia Spaziale Italiana; ASI).
Each RIB has a length of 12 metres and a 149kW inboard diesel engine fitted with twin waterjet drives.
ASI will utilise the RIBs for transporting personnel and cargo to and from the San Marco offshore launch platform at the Luigi Broglio Space Center near Malindi, Kenya.
