The Maritime Archaeology Sea Trust (MAST), a UK-based research charity, will soon take delivery of a new rigid inflatable boat (RIB) from Ribcraft RIBs.
The 5.85-metre boat will be named Falcon and will replace Phoenix, an older craft from the same series delivered by Ribcraft in 1995.
As with Phoenix, Falcon will be operated as a safety boat and support tender for MAST barges during surveys and investigations of wreck sites in UK waters.
