A team from the state-owned not-for-profit organisation China Geological Survey (CGS) completed a two-month hydrocarbon research and geological mapping expedition offshore Pakistan on Tuesday, February 19.
The expedition was conducted in co-operation with scientists from Pakistan's National Institute of Oceanography and with the support of the Pakistan Navy.
The joint Chinese-Pakistani team of scientists utilised the survey ship Hai Yang Di Zhi Shi Hao throughout the expedition.
