A newbuild rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) designed to perform pilotage services was recently unveiled in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, England.

The vessel has been named Horatio in honour of one of Norfolk's most famous residents, British naval hero Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson.

Peel Ports of Great Yarmouth will operate the 13-metre-long RHIB.

A sister vessel of Horatio is currently under construction. It will replace an older pilot boat that has been in service at Great Yarmouth since 1979.
