A new pilot boat built by Ireland's Safehaven Marine has been delivered to Norwegian operator Fonnes Batservice.

Maskulin (pictured, left) arrived in Norway at 19:00 local time on Sunday, December 1, completing a delivery journey spanning 850 nautical miles.

During the journey, the vessel was able to maintain a cruising speed of 23 knots despite gale conditions and three- to four-metre seas in the North Sea.

Maskulin has an LOA of 15 metres, a beam of 4.4 metres, a draught of 1.35 metres, and capacity for one crew and six pilots/passengers. It is the third Safehaven vessel to be ordered by Fonnes Batservice.
