Morocco’s TM2 Port welcomes pilot boat

Ireland's Safehaven Marine has launched the self-righting patrol boat Svitzer Oued Rmel for operations at the new TM2 Port in Tangier, Morocco.

She is the first of a two-vessel contract for Svitzer.

Powered by a pair of Volvo 410kW engines and ZF gearboxes that provide an operating speed of 25 knots, Svitzer Oued Rmel measures 15 metres LOA by 4.3 metres.

She has a seating capacity for six pilots, two crew and four passengers, and a liferaft for 12 people.
