Associated British Ports (ABP) took delivery of a new pilot boat from Goodchild Marine Services of Norfolk earlier this month.

Named Ouse, the newbuild is the first in a planned series of nine that Goodchild will supply to ABP over the next five years under a £9 million (US$11.8 million) contract awarded in late 2020.

The new pilot boat and four sisters will support ABP's operations in the Humber region. Three other boats are slated for Southampton while the ninth boat will be operated out of Barry in South Wales.
