Sefine Shipyard begins sea trials of new ferry for Fjord1

Turkey's Sefine Shipyard has commenced sea trials of a new double-ended Ro-Pax ferry ordered by Norwegian operator Fjord1.

Named Florøy, the vessel has an LOA of 84.5 metres, a moulded beam of 17 metres, a maximum draught of 4.1 metres, and capacity for 299 passengers and crew as well as 83 vehicles.

Power is provided by two Caterpillar C32 830kW engines.
