Keel laid for Stena Line’s sixth E-Flexer-class ship

China Merchants Jinling Shipyard Weihai (formerly AVIC Weihai Shipyard) has laid the keel for the sixth E-Flexer-class Ro-Pax ferry ordered by Stena Line.

The yet unnamed ferry will have a length of 215 metres and capacity for up to 1,000 passengers and 120 vehicles.

The vessel will be powered by a dual-fuel propulsion system that could operate on either marine diesel or LNG.
