China's Jianglong Shipbuilding has held a steel-cutting ceremony to mark the start of construction of a new sightseeing vessel ordered by local operator District Tourism Development Investment.
Once completed, the vessel will have an LOA of 42.8 metres, a beam of 9.8 metres, space for 470 passengers and eight crew on two decks, and a speed of 10 knots.
The vessel will be operated primarily in the Oujiang River in Zhejiang province.
