Amsterdam public transport provider Gemeente Vervoerbedrijf (GVB) has taken delivery of a new hybrid ferry from local builder Holland Shipyards Group.

IJveer 66 is the seventh vessel in a series to be delivered to GVB. It has capacity for 310 people, a hybrid drivetrain with 272kWh battery capacity, and an exhaust gas treatment system.

Like its sisters, IJveer 66 will be operated on GVB's North Sea Canal route.
