NYK Cruises orders newbuilding from German yard

Japan's NYK Cruises has awarded German shipbuilder Meyer Werft a contract for the construction of a new cruise ship.

The vessel will have a length of 229 metres, a gross tonnage of 51,950, and an LNG propulsion system.

Delivery is scheduled for 2025.
