Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard launched a new 10,000DWT heavy transport vessel on Monday, November 25.
The 148.5-metre vessel will be capable of fully electric propulsion and will be used to transport offshore wind power generation equipment.
The vessel is the first of a new series of heavy transporters ordered by an unnamed German shipowner. It is slated to serve a charter agreement with MHI Vestas Offshore Wind.
