AFAI Southern Shipyard in Guangzhou, China, has commenced construction of two hybrid catamaran crewboats in a series for Danish operator MHO-Co.
The Incat Crowther-designed vessels will each have a length of 35 metres and hybrid electric propulsion.
The crewboats will enter service in mid-2021 and will operate under contract with Ørsted at the Hornsea Two offshore wind farm in the North Sea.
