This week, we look at a lineup of offshore maintenance support vessels for various clients in Europe and Asia. Some are optimised for windfarm support duties while the remainder are purpose-designed for the oil and gas segment.
One notable inclusion is a windfarm support vessel that has been significantly modified for its new role after having earlier operated as a supply vessel under Australian ownership. It is now the first vessel to be acquired by a recently established operator in the Norwegian market.
We will also feature a Spanish-built floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel ordered by an operator based in Mexico. Interestingly, this vessel also carries firefighting notation even with its main role as a floating processing platform.
