US President Donald Trump has signed into law the omnibus spending bill for Fiscal Year 2021, which includes funding for four more Sentinel-class fast response cutters (FRCs) for the US Coast Guard.

This increases the total number of funded FRCs to 64.

As with the earlier Sentinel-class vessels, all four of the new FRCs will be built by Bollinger Shipyards of Lockport, Louisiana.
