Avid Boats of Amory, Mississippi, has delivered the second of two aluminium patrol and rescue craft ordered by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP).
The 23- by eight-foot (seven- by 2.4-metre) boat will be operated primarily on Mississippi's Gulf Coast.
The trailer-transportable craft has capacity for eight passengers and crew as well as approximately 2,030 pounds (920 kilograms) of assorted cargo. Power is provided by one Yamaha 250hp (186kW) outboard.
