Russia's Sredne-Nesvky Shipbuilding Plant has completed the builder's sea trials of a new patrol boat slated for the Border Service of the country's Federal Security Service.
The steel-hulled vessel is the fourth Project P1650 patrol boat to be built for the Border Service. Its secondary duties will include personnel and cargo transfers and search and rescue (SAR).
The vessel is designed for operations in waters with thin surface ice under mild winter conditions.
