Ural, the second nuclear-powered icebreaker under Project 22220, is scheduled to be launched at United Shipbuilding Corporation's (USC) Baltic Shipyard on May 25.
The vessel will descend into the water with already loaded reactor installations and almost fully equipped with an electric propulsion system.
Ural will have a length of 173.3 metres, a beam of 34 metres, a minimum working draught of 8.55 metres, a crew of 75, and the ability to break through ice of up to 2.8 metres thick.
Delivery is scheduled for 2022.
