HMS Dido: A Tiffy’s Tale

From Baird Maritime:

A small, interesting and very valuable history of a British World War II cruiser written, rather unusually, from the perspective of the "lower deck".

Written well and proudly by an ERA (Engine Room Artificer) who served aboard the ship from September 1940 to January 1946. Among other notable events, the author observed the signing of the surrender documents of the German Navy on the quarter deck of this ship in May 1945.

A very personal but fascinating record of life aboard a "lucky" ship.
