‘Swissco Steadfast’ completes sea trials at Guangzhou Panyu

A new anchor handling and utility support vessel completed sea trials at the Guangzhoul Panyu Lingshan Shipyard in China on the weekend (December 7).

The vessel, named 'Swissco Steadfast' measures 45 metres by eleven metres by four metres and is scheduled for delivery on December 10. 'Swissco Steadfast' is driven by two Caterpillar 3512-HP B rating engines, giving the vessel a total power output of 2,610kW. During sea trials, the

499GT vessel achieved a top speed of twelve knots and has a bollard pull of 43 tonnes ahead. The crew compartment accommodates 20 persons. Classed by Bureau Veritas, the vessel flies the Singapore flag.
