The ATB tug Evening Breeze was launched on Wednesday, November 7, at VT Halter Marine's Pascagoula shipyard in Mississippi.
Evening Breeze is a 2,982kW twin screw ABS-classed ATB tug. It will be paired with barge B No. 252 which is currently under construction at Bollinger Shipyards.
The tug measures 96.77 metres by 21.33 metres by 8.53 metres, will have a 55,000 barrel capacity, and will be used to transport liquid petroleum products throughout the Jones Act Market.
