UK-based construction services provider S Walsh and Sons has ordered a 19-metre-long multi-purpose workboat from Damen Shipyards Group.
Damen will deliver the vessel 10 weeks after receiving the order.
The workboat will be used as a tug for pushing and pulling barges loaded with construction materials and as a crane vessel for loading steel or placing cable.
The 714kW vessel will have a bollard pull of 12 tonnes and a speed of nine knots.
