Turkey’s Med Marine to sell tugs, mooring boat to local operator
Turkish builder and operator Med Marine has been awarded sales contracts for two tugs and a mooring boat by local port operator Ceyport Tekirdağ Uluslararası Liman İşletmeciliği.
The three vessels will be used to support Ceyport's operations at the Port of Tekirdağ in northwestern Turkey.
The two tugs that will be acquired by Ceyport had previously sailed as part of the Med Marine national fleet. One is a 22-metre vessel with a bollard pull of 40 tonnes while the other is an 18-metre vessel with a bollard pull of 30 tonnes.
