Tug Malta’s Vittoriosa completes sea trials

Turkish builder Med Marine has completed sea trials of Vittoriosa, a new tug ordered by Italy's Rimorchiatori Riuiniti Group.

Designed by Robert Allan Ltd and built by Med Marine's Ereğli Shipyard, the tug will be operated by Rimorchiatori Riuniti subsidiary Tug Malta upon delivery at the end of April.

Vittoriosa has a length of 29.7 metres, a beam of 13.3 metres, accommodations for eight persons, and 2 MTU 16V4000M65L 2,2560kW engines that deliver a speed of 13 knots and a bollard pull of 80 tonnes.
