Svitzer has signed a 10-year agreement with the Suez Canal Authority wherein the company will provide two newbuild tugs to support operations in the Suez Canal and Port Said.
The tugs will each have azimuth stern drives (ASD) and a bollard pull of 70 tonnes.
The contract is scheduled to commence in July of this year.
