Sanmar delivers ASD tug to Latvian operator

Turkish builder Sanmar Shipyards has delivered a new ASD tug to Latvian operator PKL Flote, a company under Finland's Alfons Håkans Group.

The Robert Allan Ltd-designed Altair will be operated by PKL Flote out of the Latvian east coast port of Ventspils which faces the Baltic Sea.

The newbuild has an ice-strengthened hull, a length of 22 metres, and a bollard pull of 50 tonnes.
