Saam Towage welcomes ASD tug for Guatemala operations

Saam Towage has welcomed a new ASD tug to its fleet of vessels supporting operations at the Guatemalan port of Puerto Quetzal.

Designed by Robert Allan Ltd and built by Med Marine of Turkey, Saam Itzá has a length of 23 metres and Caterpillar 3512C engines that deliver a speed of 12 knots and a bollard pull of 60 tonnes.

Saam Itzá is the third ASD tug to be operated by Saam Towage out of Puerto Quetzal.
