Saam Towage begins operations in Peru

Saam Towage has officially begun operations in Peru with the deployment of the tug RAM Valkyria out of the Port of Callao 12 kilometres from the capital city Lima.

The tug will assist ships with berthing and unberthing in the harbour. A second tug, RAM Albatros, will be deployed to the port in the coming weeks.

Saam Towage Managing Director Hernán Gómez said the Port of Callao will enable the company to provide better tug coverage for customers on the southern Pacific coast.
