Rosmorport’s newest tugs enter service

Russia's Rosmorport recently commissioned its four newest ASD harbour tugs into service.

The newbuilds have been named Askold, Yemar, Sukhodol, and Truzhenik.

The first three tugs will serve ports in the Primorsky Region, including the port of Vladivostok, while Truzhenik will operate out of Sabetta.

The tugs all have Arc4 ice class notation. Askold, Yemar, and Sukhodol are near identical sisters each measuring 29.8 by 10.4 metres and with a bollard pull of 56 tonnes while Truzhenik measures 26.4 by 9.5 metres and has a bollard pull of 40 tonnes.
