Two more tugs have been added to Ocean Sparkle's fleet to handle LNG carriers at a new LNG terminal in Mumbai, India.

The Cheoy Lee-built Ocean Leader and Ocean Legacy are from Robert Allan Ltd designs.

The 32-metre tugs, which have fire-fighting capacity and more than 300-cubic-metre tank capacity, deliver 72 tonnes of bollard pull and free running speeds of 13 knots.

Their main propulsion includes a pair of Niigata diesel engines, each rated at 1,838kW at 750rpm.

Both vessels have been deployed to operations at the terminal.
