New tug delivered to Brittany towage operator

A new all-steel harbour tug has been delivered to the Societe Cooperative des Lamaneurs des Ports de Brest et de Roscoff, a towage operator that serves clients in the ports of Brest and Roscoff in France's Brittany peninsula.

Built by Piriou Vietnam, Le Moros is capable of harbour towing, deep-sea towing, and pushing. It has a length of 16.5 metres, a beam of 6.56 metres, a draught of 2.5 metres, and MLC 2006-compliant accommodations for four crew.

Two 440kW IMO Tier III-compliant engines deliver a bollard pull of 15 tonnes.
