Netherlands-based Neptune Marine has delivered a new harbour tug to Belgian operator Verbeke Shipping.

Condor has a length of 24 metres, a beam of 10 metres, a draught of four metres, and two Caterpillar C32 IMO Tier III-compliant engines that each produce 970 kW that deliver a bollard pull of 27 tonnes and a maximum speed of 11 knots.

The tug also has two Volvo D7A generators, a 60-tonne towing winch, an A-frame with a dredging plough, and a compact deck crane.

Condor is classed by Bureau Veritas and currently sails under the Dutch flag. It will be operated out of the Port of Antwerp alongside four other vessels in the Verbeke fleet.
