Netherlands-based Multraship held a christening ceremony for two of its newest tugs on Saturday, September 7.

Multratug 32 and Multratug 33 belong to the same series of 32-metre vessels designed by Novatug and built by Damen Maaskant Shipyards Stellendam. The tugs were delivered to Multraship in 2018 and have since been in operation in Rotterdam and the River Scheldt.

Each tug has two ABC 2,650kW main engines that deliver a static bollard pull of 77 tonnes and speeds in excess of 14 knots.
