Med Marine and Svitzer have entered into an agreement for the delivery of a new harbour tug for Svitzer's operations in Germany.
The Robert Allan Ltd-designed tug will have an LOA of 23 metres, a beam of 10.9 metres, a draught of 5.05 metres, and two Caterpillar 3512 1,765kW main engines that will deliver a bollard pull of 60 tonnes and a speed of 12 knots.
Delivery of the tug is scheduled for November 2020.
