Jiangsu Zhenjiang delivers three tugs

China's Jiangsu Zhenjiang shipyard has delivered three newbuild tugs in the past week.

The last was a 3300 AVIC-class azimuthing stern drive (ASD) tug was the seventh delivery for a joint venture between the shipyard and AVIC International Offshore.

This delivery followed the acceptance of two other ASD type tugs by the Xiamen Port Co in China.

Zhenjiang Shipyard successfully delivered Xia Gang Tuo 24 and Xia Gang Tuo 25 tugs on October 26.

The 3,676kW ASD tugs will be used to assist ships in harbours and terminals.
