Med Marine has cut the first steel for a new ASD tug slated for the Port of Karadeniz Ereğli on Turkey's Black Sea coast.
The Robert Allan Ltd-designed tug will have an LOA of 25.2 metres, a beam of 12 metres, and a maximum draught of 5.75 metres.
Two Caterpillar 3516C 2,100kW main engines will deliver a bollard pull in excess of 75 tonnes.
