Damen delivers ASD tug to Iskes Towage and Salvage
Published on

Damen Shipyards Group recently delivered a new ASD tug to Dutch marine services company Iskes Towage and Salvage.

With a bollard pull of 60 tonnes, the 23- by 12- metre Jupiter will be used for regular towage and barge handling duties at the ports of Ijmuiden and Amsterdam.

One notable feature of the tug is the incorporation of the winch into the superstructure. This ensures a spacious, safe, and clutter-free deck and enables the vessel to tow both fore and aft with just one winch.

Jupiter was built at Damen Song Cam Shipyards in Vietnam.
