Hong Kong-based Cheoy Lee Shipyards recently completed construction on two line handling workboats in a series.

The vessels were designed by MacDuff Ship Design to fulfil multiple roles as general workboats within many industries. Each has an LOA of 14 metres, a beam of 5.5 metres, and a maximum draught of 1.9 metres. Two Caterpillar C9.3 310kW main engines delivered a speed of 10.2 knots and a bollard pull of 10 tonnes during sea trials.

The two newbuilds have been completed as stock vessels and are now available for sale.
