Torm acquires MR tanker quartet

Denmark's Torm has entered into an agreement wherein it will buy four 2011-built MR tankers from an unnamed owner for a total consideration of US$83 million.

The four vessels were built by Hyundai Mipo Dockyards and are expected to be delivered between August and December of this year.

These will be the 11th through 14th Hyundai Mipo-built vessels to join the Torm fleet.
