The third and final East Coast Canada shuttle tanker is ready to sail to her home port of St John's, Newfoundland.

Two years and nine months after the contract signing, the Heritage-class newbuilding shuttle tanker Dorset Spirit will soon join her sister vessels, Beothuk Spirit and Norse Spirit.

The 147,000DWT DP2 vessels are built to serve on oilfields offshore Canada's east coast, where Teekay services a group of nine oil companies.

The Heritage-class project has been completed within 2.6 million man hours.
