Athens-based Performance Shipping, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, has taken delivery of the Aframax tanker Maersk Jamnagar from Maersk Tankers.

The 2011-built 104,588DWT vessel will be renamed Briolette. It was completed in 2011 by Sumitomo Heavy Industries Marine and Engineering.

The vessel will serve in the Performance Shipping fleet alongside near-identical sister Blue Moon/ex-Maersk Jeddah, which was also completed in 2011.
