Monaco-based Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation (Navios Acquisition) recently took delivery of a new very large crude carrier (VLCC) built at a Japanese shipyard.

Following delivery, the 313,433DWT Baghdad was chartered out to an unnamed counterparty for a firm period of 10 years.

The charterer also has an option to exercise an extension of five years.
