Kyoei Tanker takes delivery of fifth VLCC

Kyoei Tanker took delivery of a new Malacca Max very large crude carrier (VLCC) from Japan Marine United (JMU) on Friday, February 7.

Named Hou-Ei, the newbuild has an LOA of 339.5 metres, a beam of 60 metres, a deadweight of 312,745 tonnes, and one WinGD W7X82 diesel engine.

The tanker is the fifth VLCC to join the Kyoei fleet.
