Hunter Group wholly owned subsidiary Hunter Tankers has entered into a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to sell one of its vessels to an undisclosed Eurasian buyer for approximately US$84.5 million.

The object of the sale is Hunter Atla, a 2019-built very large crude carrier (VLCC) and currently the oldest ship in the Hunter fleet.

The vessel is expected to be delivered to its new owner in March 2021.
