Russia's Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex has cut the first steel for a new Aframax tanker ordered by local operator Sovcomflot.
The vessel will be the second in a series of two ordered by Sovcomflot. The first tanker will soon begin undergoing trials and is scheduled for delivery in 2022.
The tankers will each have a length of 250 metres, a beam of 44 metres, and a deadweight of 114,000 tonnes.
