First steel cut for new methanol-fuelled tanker for Proman Stena Bulk

Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) in China has cut the first steel for the lead ship in a series of three new methanol-fuelled tankers ordered by Proman Stena Bulk.

Once completed, Stena Pro Patria will have a deadweight of 49,900 tonnes and MAN methanol-ready, dual fuel engines.

Delivery is scheduled for early 2022.
